Engineering Director

Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining microservices and APIs related to accounts, ensuring seamless transactions and efficient financial reporting.

Our team consists of skilled backend engineers and a dedicated quality engineer, working closely with a product manager to drive project success. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing strategies to drive innovation and collaboration within the team.
2. Coaching and mentoring engineers to ensure their growth and development.
3. Leading initiatives across teams to improve overall performance and delivery.
4. Adapting to changing priorities and challenges, guiding the team towards successful outcomes.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our product/service portfolio, including service development and 3rd party integration. As a key member of the team, you will articulate our goals and how they align with business objectives.

A successful candidate will possess:

• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.
• A passion for coaching and mentoring, supporting team members in their growth journeys.
• An innovative mindset, allowing you to tackle new challenges and support the team in their endeavors.
• Previous experience delivering projects to production, as a software developer or in a similar role.
• Strong system design skills, with a bonus for experience working with Thought Machine or similar 3rd party ledgers.
