The purpose of the Lab Operations organization is to deliver cutting-edge lab infrastructure, networks, and hardware services to Ericsson Research and Development (R&D) organizations across the globe. Our unit, Lab Site Operations (LSO) Linköping, delivers vital hardware, infrastructure, and related services to provide the required test environment for Ericsson R&D stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically, tactically, and operationally responsible for the area facility infrastructure for lab & data center in Linköping.
  • Responsibility includes power & cooling infrastructure, structured cabling, and general building-related services.
  • Support for commissioning as well as solve incidents and planning repairs.
  • Create and maintain configuration setups of power & cooling infrastructure.
  • Ensure monitoring of infrastructure components.
  • Improve the team's work processes.
  • Project planning of life cycle management activities related to datacenter infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Thorough technical knowledge and experience in data center, or similar, critical services.
  • Experience of managing change processes and operations.
  • Technically qualified in appropriate engineering disciplines.
  • Demand management and purchasing of datacenter infrastructure.
  • CAD design and practical experience of working with CAD documentation.
  • Datacenter power infrastructure and distribution.
  • Datacenter cooling and infrastructure.
  • Technical reporting and statistics.
  • Good IT knowledge - CMDB documentation, network, and monitoring.
  • General programming competence for automation solutions (e.g. Python, JavaScript, shell script).
