Job Description

The Sustainability Lead is a newly formed role within Stena Line Fleet Operations and you will be important in achieving our future sustainability objectives.

This role will drive our environmental initiatives, ensuring that our actions are both innovative and aligned with long-term goals.

  • Coordinate sustainability efforts companywide
  • Build increased awareness and engagement internally and externally
  • Evaluate alternatives and assess the long-term consequences of sustainability decisions
  • Manage the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the company point of contact for sustainability
  2. Ensure adequate internal awareness with regards to sustainability
  3. Be responsible for the Environmental management system (ISO 14001)
  4. Contribute to the development and adherence of the company sustainability strategy
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant academic university degree within sustainability or environmental management
  • Experience in environmental management systems, ISO 14001 or equivalent
  • Experience in interpretation of current and upcoming legislation
  • Experience from working in shipping, transportation or consulting is considered an advantage
