Job Description:
This exciting role involves conducting cutting-edge research on Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) in electric vehicle drivelines. As an Industrial Ph.D. student at Volvo Cars, you will work with our world-class Propulsion unit in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology and leading Swedish companies to explore innovative approaches for EMI filtering, advanced grounding concepts, and state-of-the-art modeling techniques using electromagnetic simulations and machine learning.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on EMI in EV drivelines
- Develop and optimize electric machine designs for superior EMC performance
- Collaborate with industry experts and academic leaders
- Contribute to the development of real-world applications for EMI/EMC in automotive electric drivelines

Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with an M.Sc. degree in Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields who are passionate about EMI/EMC, electromagnetics, and power electronics. The ideal candidate combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, showing enthusiasm for hands-on experimental work and testing of electronic systems.
