The Role
We are seeking a Field Technical Engineer to join our Abbott Electrophysiology Division in Sweden. In this role, you will provide expert technical support and advice to our clients, attending implants, follow-ups, and supporting any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of all products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
- Provide technical support to the EP salesforce.
- Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.
Qualifications
- You must hold a university degree within biomedical engineering or other related scientific field.
- Ideal candidates have electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology would be considered a strong asset.
- You must have a very good command of English and Swedish (both written and spoken).
- You should possess strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.
- You must be willing to travel 75% of the time and able to work autonomously.
- You should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
