The Role

We are seeking a Field Technical Engineer to join our Abbott Electrophysiology Division in Sweden. In this role, you will provide expert technical support and advice to our clients, attending implants, follow-ups, and supporting any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices.

Responsibilities

1. Provide expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of all products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
2. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
3. Provide technical support to the EP salesforce.
4. Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.

Qualifications

1. You must hold a university degree within biomedical engineering or other related scientific field.
2. Ideal candidates have electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.
3. Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology would be considered a strong asset.
4. You must have a very good command of English and Swedish (both written and spoken).
5. You should possess strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.
6. You must be willing to travel 75% of the time and able to work autonomously.
7. You should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
