UMS Skeldar is a leading provider of advanced helicopter platforms for the defence industry and civil security. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in Linköping.

We operate at a fast pace, with tasks and priorities that can shift rapidly. As a Quality Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that both internal and external requirements are met according to our standards. You will develop processes, conduct quality inspections, and perform internal audits in production and manufacturing, as well as carry out external audits.

• Ensure that internal and external components, processes, and finished products meet set requirements within the entire production flow.
• Perform quality controls during all production and manufacturing stages of UMS Skeldar's products and components.
• Be responsible for developing the incoming goods inspection process and overseeing quarantine and lead quality investigations.
• Initiate and drive the establishment of new and improvement of old processes and working methods.
• Participate in internal and external audit teams.
• Belong to the internal and external Fault Management system, which involves communication with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Foster continuous improvement activities.

To succeed in this role, you must have a university degree in Quality or a relevant field, or relevant work experience. Experience in participating in internal and external audits, as well as Quality Management Systems, is preferred. A technical background or experience from manufacturing companies where quality issues were actively pursued is an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have excellent English and Swedish language skills, both written and spoken. We estimate the salary for this position to be approximately 70,000 - 80,000 SEK per month, based on the company's location in Linköping and the required qualifications.
