Job Overview

Northvolt Ett AB is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Skellefteå. This role plays a vital part in the development of new European battery factories, contributing to the transition to a carbon-free society.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance programs for equipment, ensuring reliability and performance. Key responsibilities include:
  • • Interfacing with operators and technicians to identify areas for improvement
    • Leading the development of maintenance programs and training others in specific tasks
    • Monitoring equipment performance and making cost analyses
    • Setting up long-term maintenance activities and evaluating spare parts needs
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, fluency in English, and previous experience in maintenance or production (minimum 2 years). Additional skills in mechanical, automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are valuable.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize maintenance programs for equipment to ensure high reliability and performance. Interface with operators and technicians to understand areas for improvement and communicate solutions. Train others in maintenance-specific tasks and monitor equipment performance to make informed decisions.
