Position Overview - Junior Financial Controller

As a Junior Financial Controller, you will engage in a variety of tasks that primarily focus on budgeting and quarterly financial reporting. Your responsibilities will also include annual activities such as developing cost models and handling various ad hoc requests from headquarters and local management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with different departments to assist in their budgeting and reporting processes.
  • Support the company's digital transformation by enhancing the budgeting and reporting of IT expenditures.
  • Facilitate communication between the Controlling team and IT/PMO teams.
  • Develop and refine IT cost budgeting tools and reports, utilizing Excel, PowerQuery, and PowerPivot.
  • Create databases for comprehensive analysis.
  • Design dashboards for monitoring and presentations using Excel and/or PowerBI.
  • Participate in the enhancement of budgeting and reporting tools for overall overhead budgets.
  • Automate reporting processes to maximize time for analysis and follow-up.

Team Environment:

You will be part of the local Management Accounting team, known as the Controlling Team, which consists of diverse professionals engaged in various functions such as performance management, asset management, liquidity, and capital management. The team enjoys a collaborative atmosphere and values contributions from all members.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree from a reputable business or engineering school, with a specialization in Finance and management accounting. You should have a solid foundation in financial analysis and budgeting, complemented by relevant internship or work-study experience.

Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visual Basic) are essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach will be critical to your success in this role.
