About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Camera Specialist to join our team at Sigma Connectivity. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing camera systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop camera software for Android-based systems, including analysis, programming, integration, unit testing, and debugging.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement camera solutions.
- Interface with customers to understand their camera requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Contribute to pre-studies and propose technical solutions for camera-related projects.
- Collaborate with specialists and developers from other technical areas, such as hardware, audio, and optics.
- Investigate and learn new camera technologies and techniques to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in C/C++ programming and knowledge of Java programming.
- Strong experience in working with Android Camera Stack and Camera Sensor bring-ups.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision and camera optimization techniques.
- Knowledge and understanding of embedded/real-time software development.
- Experience with Qualcomm Chipsets and knowledge of Agile ways of working.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in Python programming.
- Experience in developing complex systems of integrated functionality in software and hardware.
- Development tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Coverity, and JIRA.
- Creative debugging skills with multiple sources and techniques.
- Experience with MediaTek Chipsets.
