Our goal is to streamline processes, delivering digital and non-digital products benefiting IKEA franchisees, supporting expansion in the area of supply for an affordable and sustainable customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst within Capability Area Logistics and Fulfilment, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing business solutions, focusing on end-to-end supply chain development and innovation
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and explore potential improvements in logistics and fulfilment processes
  • Supporting architects in creating business blueprints and managing dependencies relating to processes, data, people and technology
  • Participating in the Business Analyst community of practice to improve and ensure commonality in ways of working
  • Becoming an ambassador of Agile principles and helping the digital product team with continuous learning and improvements

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with good business knowledge related to logistics or transport and its surrounding business context. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and experience from relevant business context and good understanding of business needs
  • Understanding of business analysis and modelling, requirements management process
  • Ability to collaborate with many stakeholders and facilitate workshops related to business needs
  • Ability to connect and see dependencies from a capability perspective towards business processes
  • An ability to elicit, find patterns, and see new opportunities and possibilities in an analytical and very structured manner
  • Ability to lead with a business mindset, challenge stakeholders and determine what is relevant
  • An ability to address challenges creatively and pragmatically
  • A quality focus and interest in solution management activities
  • Basic knowledge and or interest to learn different delivery methods and software lifecycle management
  • Understanding or interest to learn test methods and tools with focus on acceptance testing
