We are looking for a skilled researcher to fill a postdoctoral position at SLU. As part of the EU-funded project inSALSA, this role will focus on enhancing the adoption of agricultural biologicals in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The project involves investigating farmer attitudes and preferences through 'living labs' in Kenya and South Africa. The living labs aim to promote the use of biologicals to combat pests in tomato and potato, integrating social scientific research with natural scientific research.
About the Living Labs- The living labs will be coordinated by local universities and institutions.
- The research will be conducted in Kenya and South Africa, with replication and capacity building efforts in Ethiopia and Italy respectively.
As a postdoc, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment at SLU. You will be part of a smaller research group led by experienced researchers and collaborate with international teams.
You will have the freedom to design and conduct your own research projects, with support from senior colleagues. Publications will be expected as joint endeavors, highlighting your contributions to the project's outcomes.
