Medical Device Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Specialist to join our implementation project team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for servicing and implementing Patient Monitoring solutions at customer sites.

The main goal of this role is to ensure successful implementations and positive customer experiences. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

You will be required to travel within your designated region and occasionally outside of it. A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Install, deploy, service, and/or integrate patient monitoring hardware and software solutions.
  2. Configure, maintain, and test our products at customer sites and/or Philips Delivery Center in Upplands Väsby.
  3. Be responsible for the whole implementation process, from planning through installation, go-live, and handover.
  4. Manage detailed quality documentation in adherence to medical directive standards.
Requirements
  1. Relevant working experience with DICOM, HL7, and Hospital Communication standards.
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years of related working experience with medical devices and an understanding of the special character of working in hospitals.
  3. A strong interest and affinity for IT solutions, including knowledge of networking (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWTS, or equivalent) and IT infrastructures (VMWare, Hyper V, SQL Server).
  4. Self-motivated, task-oriented team player who is persistent in achieving goals set.
  5. A highly professional and knowledgeable approach to solving customer problems and ownership of own projects.
  6. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
