Airswift is seeking a Project Delivery Excellence Professional to join our Operational Excellence team.

About the Role

This position requires expertise in lean principles and methodologies, as well as experience in construction project management. The ideal candidate will be able to apply lean principles to construction planning, design, and execution processes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lean Implementation:
    • Apply lean principles to construction planning, design, and execution processes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
    • Develop and implement value stream mapping, pull planning, and Last Planner System to improve project delivery.
    • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in processes, materials, and workflows to enhance overall productivity.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Conduct thorough assessments of current construction processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
    • Establish performance metrics and continuously monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Foster collaboration among project teams, contractors, and EPCMs to align goals and expectations.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on lean construction methodologies and best practices.
    • Serve as a liaison between teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Project Management Support:
    • Assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, and risk management using lean tools and techniques.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Support the development of integrated project delivery (IPD) systems to enhance project coordination and communication.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and experimentation.
    • Evaluate project outcomes to identify lessons learned, best practices, and opportunities for growth and development.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in lean construction practices.
    • Lean Six Sigma, Certified Lean Construction Professional (CLCP), or equivalent certification.
    • Proficiency in lean tools and techniques, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Last Planner System.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or BIM tools).
