We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis, covering for a colleague on maternity leave. The role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support to the People & Culture department.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately process monthly payrolls, including deductions, bonuses, and overtime payments in Sweden and other entities in Nordic countries.
- Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and stay updated on any changes in legislation.
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and summaries to management as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll-related tax filings and end-of-year processes.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other functions.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll records and personal information.
- Attention to detail.
- Capability of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply complex payroll regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity in handling sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proactivity in identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and issues.
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments.
