Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Collen AB - Stockholm.

About the Role:

  • To oversee the administration and change order process associated with the MEP packages.
  • To ensure all changes are captured and costings appropriately assessed and validated prior to issuing to the Design Team and Client.
  • To prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team and/or the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • To assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • To perform risk, value management and cost control.
  • To advise on procurement strategy.
  • To identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • To prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
  • To allocate work to subcontractors.
  • To provide advice on contractual claims.
  • To analysis outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • To value completed work and arrange payments.
  • To maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
  • To understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • 5 years + in a similar role knowledge.
  • Thorough knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical works packages, measurements and costs.
  • Experience working on large scale data centers will be an advantage.
