At Örebro University, we are seeking an exceptional Biological Researcher to join our faculty in the School of Science and Technology. As a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Biology, you will play a key role in shaping the academic experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual with strong teaching competence in cell biology, molecular biology, physiology, ecology, and toxicology. The successful candidate will have experience in university-level education and a commitment to fostering student engagement and learning.

The position involves delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and supporting students in their academic education. You will also be responsible for contributing to educational development and fostering connections across academia, industry, and environmental sectors.

A lecturer at Örebro University is expected to spend their working hours mainly on teaching, primarily at the bachelor's level, and on any associated public engagement activities. Additionally, teaching encompasses supervision, examination, course planning, and evaluation.

As a senior lecturer, you will be expected to demonstrate teaching expertise through different teaching contributions, such as planning, execution, and evaluation of teaching activities, as well as supervision and examination.
