We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Graphic Engineer to lead our graphics engineering efforts for Candy Crush Saga. As a key member of our Central Technology/Graphics Team, you will be responsible for delivering optimizations, world-class visual effects, and coordinating across disciplines to ensure our game remains the best-looking match-3 game in the app stores.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and design innovative solutions to maintain our competitive advantage in graphics and engine technology.
- Collaborate with other teams and the King Shared Technology group to research and develop game graphics technology.
- Mentor engineers and technical artists to ensure knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
- Work with other discipline leads to achieve artistic and performance goals for the game.
- Present at internal forums, company-wide events, and industry conferences to increase visibility of our development.
- 10+ years of experience in the video games industry as a Senior Graphics Engineer or above.
- Recognized leader in the graphics game development community.
- Developed cutting-edge real-time graphics techniques.
- Up-to-date knowledge of development in the graphics community for games and movies.
- Strong 3D math skills.
- Experience with Mobile graphics APIs and tools.
- Fluent in modern C++ and multi-threaded programming.
- Strong understanding of low-level CPUs/GPUs operations.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Shipped at least 4 commercial titles – a 60Hz FPS is a plus.
- Python or other scripting languages.
- Solid public speaking skills.
