About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intraday Power Trader to join our team at Vattenfall. As a key member of our Wind & Customer Optimisation Nordic department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing Vattenfall's Nordic Wind- and Customer portfolio on physical power markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a part-time Intraday power trader at the Nordic dispatch center, working closely with our experts to develop and implement trading strategies.
  • Support the continuous development of Vattenfall's Nordic intraday trading activities, including market analysis, trading strategies, algos, forecasts, and data analysis.
  • Challenge established solutions and initiate new business improvements to drive growth and innovation in the European power market.
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree in a quantitative or financial discipline, such as Engineering, IT, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
  • Strong programming and data analysis skills, preferably in Python.
  • Business acumen and a 'trader's mindset' to navigate complex market dynamics.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluent in Swedish and good skills in English.
