About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to manage complex events in an international context. You will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering international exhibitions and global events on behalf of Saab.

As an Event Coordinator, you will lead the gathering of insights from various Business Areas and functions, coordinating a diverse team of colleagues from across the globe, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers from different countries and cultures.

Your key responsibilities will include managing budgets, allocating resources, evaluating external services, and providing support by participating in technical meetings, conducting briefings, and resolving complex issues where necessary.

You will be required to travel regularly, including sometimes on weekends and national holidays, and collaborate closely with other teams within the Group Business Development (GBD) Office.

  • Develop and execute event strategies that align with Saab's goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics, budgeting, and scheduling for events.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible deals.
  • Provide on-site management for stand builds and event execution.
  • Analyse event performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
