">We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Account Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of our Commercial Property European Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in servicing larger property accounts and supporting our clients in managing risk.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Perform property loss prevention reviews of commercial property accounts to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Document review results in a data-driven application to support client service plans and risk management strategies.
- Conduct periodic client service meetings with underwriting, broker, and client representatives to discuss risk mitigation strategies and account performance.
- Analyze and manage risk improvements for an account, working closely with clients to prioritize and implement changes that reduce exposure to loss.
- Translate client needs into actionable risk management strategies, developing client service plans that address specific risks and vulnerabilities.
- Estimate the cost of engineering services required to implement risk mitigation measures, ensuring alignment with client budgets and business objectives.
- Conduct quality reviews of completed account reviews and field survey reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Lead property loss prevention surveys at key facilities of clients, identifying hazards and assessing the adequacy of protection features.
- Determine building construction and assess the impact of plastics in construction on risk exposure.
- Analyze water supplies and sprinkler system demands to determine adequacy and recommend improvements.
- Identify occupancy hazards and assess the adequacy of their protection features.
- Assess external exposures on a facility and determine fire and natural catastrophe loss estimates.
- Conduct consultative visits at customer facilities and plan reviews to provide expert advice on risk management and loss prevention.
Requirements
">- Few years of experience in property risk engineering, preferably in field risk engineering or account engineering roles.
- University degree in engineering or a related field, such as architecture or construction management.
- Broad knowledge of risk property controls and experience in performing field risk surveys of commercial and light hazard industrial occupancies.
- Strong relationship management skills, including interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, with additional languages a plus.
