H2 Green Steel is a pioneering company dedicated to revolutionizing the steel industry by producing green steel. Our mission is to significantly reduce CO2 emissions to zero by utilizing green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal. Our goal is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually by 2030 in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in northern Sweden.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BoP/SIN Design Manager to join our Owners Engineering Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of Project Boden. This position requires a strong background in engineering, project management, and experience in large-scale industrial projects.

1. Lead Value Engineering and Decision Making: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will lead value engineering and decision-making on non-made yet decisions, ensuring the optimal use of resources and minimizing costs.
2. Manage Performance and Reporting: The successful candidate will manage performance, including schedule and budget, and report and escalate internal and external performance-related issues up to the Plant Lead using agreed KPIs.
3. Participate in Boden Overall Coordination Sessions: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will participate in Boden overall coordination sessions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
4. Coach Unit Leads: The successful candidate will coach Unit Leads, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.
5. Make Decisions on Resource Allocation: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will make decisions on resource allocation in consultation with Unit Leads based on changing priorities.
6. Resolve Conflicts and Manage Change: The successful candidate will resolve conflicts between units and manage change from a cost and schedule perspective in consultation with Unit Leads.
7. Have Expertise in Engineering Judgement: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will have the expertise to make engineering judgements without escalating to Plant Lead or other departments, but will escalate as required.
8. Own Design Development Plan: The successful candidate will own the Design development plan, including 30/60/90 model reviews.
9. Be a Bridge between Management and BoP Engineering: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will be the bridge between management and BoP Engineering, fielding questions and providing support as needed.
10. Own Critical Technical Documents and Deliverables: The successful candidate will own the list of project phase critical technical documents and deliverables for review and assurance.

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering: The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field).
2. Minimum 10 Years of Experience: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in plant design and project management, preferably in the steel or heavy industrial sector.
3. Proven Track Record in Managing Large-Scale Projects: The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale greenfield projects.
4. Strong Knowledge of BoP Systems and Integration: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will have strong knowledge of BoP systems and integration with core production processes.
5. Excellent Project Management Skills: The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
6. Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The BoP/SIN Design Manager will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
