We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Manager to join our team at First Solar European Technology Center AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the European Technology Center's EHS and Quality work to ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality policies.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate EHS activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and implement EHS programs and initiatives to improve the organization's environmental, health, and safety performance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
- Manage ETC's QMS to coordinate and direct the organization's activities to meet regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or similar technical discipline and 4 years of relevant technical experience in EHS related field preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with and influence people at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high degree of flexibility.
- Technical knowledge of EHS&S and QMS.
- Ability to integrate EHS&S and QMS with other technical and business disciplines.
