Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer for our Spotfire Data Management division. This team plays a crucial role in the implementation and upkeep of the Spotfire Data Engine, a vital component of our visual data science platform that empowers subject matter experts to tackle critical business challenges. Spotfire serves as an immersive and scalable analytics solution, allowing users to explore, enhance, and manipulate their inquiries. They seek clarity on: What is the optimal course of action? Who made this choice? What were the reasons? When did this occur? Essentially, Spotfire immerses users in a dynamic environment that merges data handling with analytical processes. Our product resides at the intersection of data assets and business value, a lively space where technology advances rapidly and user-friendliness is paramount for success.
You will be part of a collaborative team where professionals with diverse skill sets work in unison. It is a community where software is crafted by developers collaborating with colleagues from various fields – including other developers and testers, as well as user experience designers, technical writers, project managers, and product managers. Additionally, customer interactions and data scientists contribute to this vibrant environment. Key Responsibilities
We are currently in search of a senior software engineer to enhance the Data Management team. Beyond implementing and maintaining the Spotfire data engine, the team is responsible for managing the Spotfire data model and all associated calculations. Ultimately, the team creates a visual representation of the data model.
Required Qualifications
+ A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
+ 3–5 years of relevant experience.
+ Proficiency in conversational Swedish.
+ A keen interest in Spotfire and its business applications.
+ A passion for engineering as an intellectual pursuit.
+ A preference for quality over quantity in work output.
+ Availability for on-site presence.
+ Valid work authorization for Sweden.
