Job DescriptionAs Björn Borg's Product Developer for Footwear, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative footwear products that align with their product promise. Your responsibilities will include leading the development of materials, function, comfort, and construction of their footwear range. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, ensuring all products meet the highest standards through rigorous testing and quality control.
You will work alongside the Design team, Category team, Sourcing team, and Sales team as part of the Product Development team, driving forward the future of Björn Borg's Footwear collection. To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be proactive, and able to work independently while taking ownership of tasks and delivering high-quality results on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive product development & cost reduction according to set KPIs and timelines
- Manage product administration and practical product management
- Promote product innovation and sustainability
- Maintain product quality and ensure compliance with the product promise
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Economics, Product Development, or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Developer
- Strong expertise in footwear product development and knowledge of textile economics
- An innovative mindset with the ability to lead products through the full development process
