Business Development Manager for IKEA Components

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at IKEA Components and make a real impact on our sustainable business practices. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing supplier base strategies for recycled wood.
You will work closely with our business partners to onboard suppliers and build long-term relationships, driving growth and reducing unnecessary costs. Your entrepreneurial thinking and ability to identify business opportunities will be essential in achieving our goals.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Wood Waste Management Business
- High expertise of Recycled Wood Supply Chain
- Deep knowledge of recycled wood Market in Nordic Region, its key players, dependencies, challenges and opportunities
- Understanding of Value chain analysis, supplier development process and cost breakdown analysis
- Ability to build trust, effective relations, partnerships with business partners
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good analytical skills / excel proficiency
- Strong negotiation skills
- Structured and fact-based approach to business development
- High self-drive and can do attitude
- Strong business ethics and share the IKEA values
- Ability to work in remote set-up
- Fluency in English, both in written and spoken
