We are seeking a highly skilled Intraday Power Trader to join our team at Vattenfall, a leading energy company in Europe. As a key member of our Wind & Customer Optimisation Nordic department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing Vattenfall's Nordic wind and customer portfolio on physical power markets.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a part-time Intraday Power Trader at our Nordic dispatch center, working closely with our market-leading experts on market analysis and intraday trading.
- Support the development of Vattenfall's Nordic intraday trading activities, including market analysis, trading strategies, algorithms, and forecasts.
- Challenge established solutions and initiate new business improvements to drive growth and efficiency in our operations.
- Relevant university degree in a quantitative or financial discipline, such as engineering, IT, econometrics, mathematics, or physics.
- Strong programming and data analysis skills, preferably in Python.
- Business acumen and a trader's mindset, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent in Swedish and good skills in English.
