About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team at Qamcom Research and Technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge hardware systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality hardware systems, from concept to production, with a strong focus on outstanding performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and algorithm specialists, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of hardware systems.
  • Work closely with customers to identify requirements and needs, define product functionality, and select or design suitable hardware.
  • Develop and implement hardware design tools, such as Altium and Cadence, to ensure efficient and effective design processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including EMC, EMI, RoHS, and other relevant standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hardware design, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.
Requirements
  • At least six years of direct industry experience in hardware engineering and product development of embedded systems.
  • Experience from hardware design in areas from idea to high volume manufacturing.
  • Knowledge about standard communication protocols, such as DDR4/5, PCIe, RS232, I2C, SPI, CAN, MIPI-CSI2, Ethernet, and USB.
  • Experience in hardware design tools, such as Altium and Cadence.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and certifications.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Swedish work permit (or citizenship).
Preferred Qualifications
  • High-speed data communication design.
  • EMC sensitive design solutions.
  • Simulation tools for Signal integrity in High Speed PCB design.
  • Python programming, Embedded software development.
