GIS Expert

As an Automotive Industry Researcher at Terry Soot MG, you will play a crucial role in our international project focused on GIS and the automotive sector. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct market research, gathering insights on trends in the auto industry, such as speed limits, ADAS speed limits, signs, and road types. You will work closely with our internal policy team to develop policies for countries within EMEA and perform meta-quality control checks to ensure data accuracy. Furthermore, you will create country-specific metrics for quality and serve as a reference point for queries from other internal teams regarding country-related matters.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum of three to four years of research experience, preferably in the auto industry, multimodal transport, roads planning, or highways planning. It is essential to demonstrate a deep understanding of market research methodologies, have good local knowledge, and be able to handle research across multiple countries within EMEA. Effective communication skills are vital to collaborate with stakeholders from diverse teams and locations. Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements is also necessary.
