Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Package Strategies: Define and execute a comprehensive package development strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Test and Validate Package Performance: Design and execute tests to validate package performance and functionality, analyzing results and documenting findings.
  • Coordinate Package Activities: Coordinate and execute package activities according to established procedures, standards, and methods.
  • Drive Root Cause Investigations: Investigate and resolve package performance and functionality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and Implement New Procedures: Develop and implement new procedures, test methods, and validation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent title.
  • Communication and Networking Skills: Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and drive results.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the packaging industry, with knowledge of packaging materials, food package interaction, and statistics.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, taking on individual initiatives and driving activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product Development Experience: Past experience in product development processes, particularly in the package area.
  • Technical Test Methodologies: Experience with technical test methodologies, including primary and secondary packaging, openings, and closures.
  • Physical Testing: Well-acquainted with physical testing methods and procedures.
  • Requirement Management and Risk Assessment: Knowledge of requirement management procedures and risk assessment methodologies.
