The Education Software Product Unit at Tietoevry has a vision to simplify everyday life at schools. Our product family Edlevo contains solutions for Student Administration, Learning Management, and Scheduling. We strive to deliver innovative, well-designed, reliable, and secure products that simplify daily work and enable more focus on learning in schools.

As the Head of the Education Software Product Unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strong product vision that aligns with the overall Tietoevry product strategy. Your role will be crucial in driving the success of Edlevo software products and enhancing our mission to improve everyday life in schools. You will focus on developing products in alignment with market needs, ensuring we continuously adapt and innovate to stay ahead of industry trends.

You will lead strategic planning, high-level product strategy, and lifecycle management of current and future products, alongside operational development and team management. A key expectation of your role will be to leverage the fast-moving world of Data & AI to enhance our products, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of our customers in the education sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning:
    Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Education Software Product Unit, aligning it with Tietoevry's overall objectives and strategy.
  • Product Development and Management:
    Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Edlevo product portfolio.
  • Go-to-market:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring market penetration and customer acquisition.
