The ideal candidate will have strong social abilities and the ability to easily understand internal stakeholders' needs. They should be flexible and adaptable, always striving to find the best possible solution, even in challenging situations.

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading Polestar sourcing for EPS related parts. They will establish supplier bases for each area, defining short- and long-term sourcing strategies, and aligning with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate on procurement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Manage and negotiate commercial and legal agreements with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to drive sustainability in the supply chain.
  • Review purchase requisitions and select contract/suppliers in accordance with defined strategies and agreements.
  • Provide procurement expertise and support to stakeholders at all stages of the procurement cycle.
  • Collaborate with other Geely Holding functions to achieve common goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators on supplier and stakeholder contract compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a buyer within the EPS functions or similar purchasing position.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages and/or Volvo SRM software and/or Workdays.
  • Strong motivation and dedication to drive sustainability in the supply chain.
  • Thorough understanding of the procurement process and strategic sourcing principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Technical discipline from a reputable university.
