Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our IT Security team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based systems within our organization.
Main Responsibilities:- Security Leadership and Architecture: Provide strategic guidance on cloud security best practices and develop secure design recommendations for cloud applications, covering areas such as data protection, key management, authentication, and authorization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on cloud security for our organization, developing standards, policies, and procedures, and participating in working groups to tailor our security policies and standards for use in cloud environments.
- Risk Assessment and Communication: Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences, ranging from business leaders to engineers.
- Technical Solutions: Design technical solutions, including creating prototypes and proofs of concept, while maintaining a security mindset and collaborating closely with application developers and system administrators to deliver creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Business, Technical, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Education, Information Security, or Information Technology is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, and cloud technology-related ones from Microsoft and Google are valuable but not mandatory.
The role requires some travelling and the final candidates will undergo a background check before a job offer can be presented.
