Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will provide technical support to plant operations, troubleshoot metallurgical process issues, and contribute to key departments such as maintenance, instrumentation, and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily technical support to plant operations and troubleshoot metallurgical process issues affecting plant performance.
  • Contribute technical input to other key departments, including maintenance, instrumentation, environmental, projects, and budget planning.
  • Monitor key process analysis equipment, including belt scales, automatic samplers, and on-stream analyzers.
  • Analyze production results and collaborate with the assay laboratory to ensure reliable production data.
  • Metallurgical balancing and production reporting: Monitor and report plant performance in terms of key performance indicators such as throughput, downtime, recovery, and concentrate quality.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify bottlenecks and process improvement opportunities through data collection and analysis. Plan and execute plant survey projects and laboratory testwork.
  • Develop improvement action plans, analyze payback, and prioritize proposed solutions. Execute and evaluate project results.
  • Develop and implement new procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as metallurgy or chemical engineering.
  • Experience in base metal flotation operations.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and effectively communicate observations and conclusions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and/or Swedish.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
