Job Description

As a Junior EHS Advisor at Jones Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in our project implementation and delivery processes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to safely deliver the completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring the company's Safety Management System and CMS System are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Assist with site administration and weekly reports to ensure accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders.
  • Conduct weekly site audits and progress reports to the client, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver comprehensive Health and Safety Inductions for new starters, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate training matrices and advise management of training requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits with the EHS Team to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collect and collate relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
Requirements:
  • A relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification is essential for this role.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role is required, with a strong understanding of the Construction Sector.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office is necessary for this position.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills are essential for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment is critical for success in this role.
