Job Description

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving analytical projects using advanced machine learning techniques. You will establish and maintain process knowledge, perform controls, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes. You will also collaborate with other teams to implement changes based on analytical results.

You will support department heads and stakeholders with specialist knowledge and provide input to various development and improvement activities. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider organization by sharing best practices, communicating transparently, and making Swedbank a fun place to work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need structured and analytical thinking, as well as an ability to solve challenging problems. You should be intellectually curious and able to approach problems conceptually. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are essential. You must also be able to interpret requests and communicate results effectively.

A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative subject such as math, physics, computer science, or engineering is required. You should have a sound understanding of programming and proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience in practical applications of advanced machine learning techniques is highly desirable.
