Senior Consultant in Polluted Areas, Nyköping

About the Role

We are seeking a senior consultant to lead the development and execution of complex projects in polluted areas, with a focus on environmental remediation. As a senior consultant, you will be part of our national team of environmental consultants and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from planning and execution to quality assurance and development of our services.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and plan projects, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to develop and execute project plans, including risk assessments, feasibility studies, and remediation plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Conduct site investigations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to identify and prioritize remediation options
• Develop and implement remediation plans, including excavation, soil remediation, and groundwater treatment
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines, including those related to environmental protection and safety
• Mentor and train junior consultants to develop their skills and expertise

Requirements

• Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on remediation and restoration
• Proven track record of leading complex projects, including planning, execution, and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize remediation options
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
