About the Role

At Westinghouse Electric Company, we are pioneers in nuclear technology and our technology is the basis for nearly half of the world's commercial nuclear power plants in operation. Our company has over 10,000 employees in 19 countries, with a strong presence in Sweden where we have been operating since 1969.

We are now looking for a process engineer to support our mechanical workshops, which include the manufacture of fuel rods, channels, grids, and components. As a process engineer, you will work with both conventional and unique manufacturing processes where focus is on quality and material issues.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, follow-up, and qualify our manufacturing processes
  • Participate in several improvement and investment projects as a specialist in manufacturing processes
  • Daily support to the factory's manufacturing units
  • Convey prerequisites to production personnel and, if necessary, train the relevant personnel
  • Contact with customers, suppliers, and other fuel factories
  • To account for our manufacturing processes to customers and authorities
  • To ensure that the quality in demand is always achieved
