We are seeking a Project Sourcing Specialist to contribute to our operations. The selected candidate will focus on sourcing and procuring materials for prototype development and establishing relationships with external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Project Sourcing Specialist, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including:
- Continuous sourcing of components for design-related details and structures, as well as maintenance support in production.
- Preparation for production involving structures and design-related details linked to various projects.
- Procurement of materials, services, and outsourcing tasks to the company's prototype workshop.
- Collaboration on internal tasks versus those outsourced to suppliers.
- Coordination with other departments within Hiab, such as production, design, purchasing, and planning.
- Monitoring deliveries and addressing any discrepancies.
- Cost analysis for projects and purchases based on quotes and previous experiences.
- Proactively working on cost efficiency initiatives.
- Engaging with suppliers and selecting them based on cost-effectiveness for project procurement.
- Conducting strategic purchasing activities.
This is a full-time role, with the Project Sourcing Specialist responsibilities comprising 50-75% of the position. The remaining time will be allocated to other sourcing and project management activities based on the candidate's qualifications.
Qualifications for Success:
- Academic or post-secondary education in Economics/Supply Chain or equivalent experience in technical product environments.
- Proficient in using an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driving license.
- Experience with Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.
- Project management experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust with colleagues and suppliers.
- Analytical mindset with effective prioritization skills.
