Winthrop Engineering and Contracting Limited is a dedicated data centre construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients. As an engineering-focused organisation, we have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in various European countries, equating to over 430MW of IT load in flight.
We are seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join our team in a site-based role in Stockholm, Sweden.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure the successful delivery of data centre projects.
- Propose suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and enhance specification and quality completion.
- Display commercial astuteness and monitor construction regarding quality of workmanship and materials.
- Coordinate and liaise with contracts managers, site engineers, and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.
- Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications, and communicate any errors or omissions to the design team in a timely manner.
- Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team to achieve project goals.
- Oversee the highest quality of health and safety on site.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant area.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing.
- Experience in effectively leading MEP teams and delivering data centre MEP projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
