About the Role

The H&M Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ML Platform Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Machine Learning (ML) platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our ML platform and its flow, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and H&M standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, to translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution designs.
  • Lead the development and growth of your team members, providing vision and clarity on their journey, and ensuring their skills and expertise are aligned with the needs of the organization.
  • Work with performance management and salary review for your team members, as well as budget planning, rolling forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Provide clear prioritization of new business needs versus maintenance of current estate of ML Platform products, ensuring our vendors are performing up to our expectations and resolving any impediments.

Requirements

  • Agile and product-driven mindset, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Deep understanding of ML and its flow, proven working in a global context.
  • Passion for ML with proven experience in building a successful community of practice.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management at both executive and operational levels.
  • Full fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to challenges and a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with performance management, salary review, budget planning, rolling forecasting, and financial reporting.
