As a Solutions Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

The Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our Group Function IT team. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure all data projects align with our business strategy and technology standards.

Your primary focus will be on long-term effectiveness, cost optimization, and standardization of our data solutions while maintaining compliance with our policies and guidelines.

You'll have the opportunity to influence the future of Skanska's data architecture by utilizing cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design & Develop: Design technical solutions that meet short- and long-term objectives.
  2. Strategic Alignment: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all data projects align with our overarching business strategy and technology standards.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions and technologies.
  4. Holistic Solutions: Provide strategic input for Group Functions and other affected departments by delivering integrated data solutions driven by business requirements.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams.
  6. Support Leadership: Assist the VP, Analytics & Data with various tasks and activities as needed.

About You:

We're looking for a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented professional with deep expertise in data architecture. You should have an ability to think holistically, considering how various functions and processes impact data design and technology.

You'll need strong leadership skills to manage complex projects and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Education: BSc or MSc in a relevant field.
  2. Experience: 8+ years in Data Architecture and Design.
  3. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Oracle platforms is a plus, with a strong understanding of solution design in processes, data, and technology.
  4. Holistic Thinking: Ability to aggregate and synthesize requirements from multiple functions and processes.
  5. Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
