Job Description

This role will provide pivotal leadership, expertise, and guidance to enable projects to achieve Safety Demonstration through Safety Cases and all related safety documents.

You'll work closely with teams across the business, manage safety resources, and participate in management meetings. You'll also lead a team of 6-8 Safety Engineers as direct reports.

In addition, you'll work on one or more projects as a Safety Engineer, participating in Core Teams and delivering status reports to Regional Nordic Safety Manager or Senior Managers of Region Nordics.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced University or Engineering degree
  • Experience or understanding of the railway industry
  • Knowledge of safety standards (CENELEC EN50126, EN50129, etc.)
  • Familiarity with safety engineering methods (HAZOP, FTA, FMEA) and risk management
  • A strong leadership record and working knowledge in a multidimensional organization
  • Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
  • Effective communication skills in English; Swedish is preferable
