Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge power converter systems for low- and medium-power applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop novel power converter system architectures and topologies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish key technical competencies for future products and solutions.
  • Design and test power converter systems in our R&D laboratories.
  • Work with external partners to develop novel high-power converters and associated control algorithms.
  • Document R&D activities and results.
  • Represent the company at international conferences and exhibitions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Business Skills Requirements:
  • Fundamental knowledge of DC/DC, DC/AC, AC/DC converter topologies.
  • Experience with hardware design, digital systems, and high-power converter design.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSIM, MATLAB, Comsol, PLECS, and Simulink.
  • Strong software skills, including DSP series and digital control.

Professional Knowledge Requirements:
  • PhD in Power Electronics or Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or similar field).
  • Deep knowledge of power-converter topologies, modulation, and control algorithms, as well as magnetic simulation tools.
  • Excellent theoretical understanding of basic power electronic converters' principles and WBG semiconductor devices.
  • Highly motivated and interested in innovative solutions and technologies, with a willingness to lead technical R&D activities.
  • High-level self-reliance, autonomy, and target-oriented approach.
