Job Description

This hybrid role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and requires proficiency in Scala and functional programming or enthusiasm to learn. You'll be responsible for managing the logic of our 300+ first-person casino games, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems using functional programming principles
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Write unit tests and automated tests to ensure robustness and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
  • Deploy applications on our Kubernetes platform, ensuring seamless performance and uptime

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering production software using Scala, Java, or comparable languages
  • Familiarity with functional/reactive, asynchronous, non-blocking styles of programming
  • Passion for technical growth and self-improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
