As a Java Developer at Codepole, you will work on interesting and challenging projects for our clients across Europe, ranging from a few months to up to a year. Your tasks will include design, development, and delivery of backend components and services to accelerate data transformation and delivering value to the end-user faster.

When not working on a project for a client, you will take part in exciting internal projects for Codepole's own ventures, such as a business loan broker operating on the Swedish market, an insurance broker, or a mortgage broker. Internal projects are tailored to the areas you would like to develop within and what brings value to the ventures. We value your ideas for the next ventures.

You will contribute to the development of CodePole in whatever way you can do it best, be it sharing your knowledge, organizing professional speakers to run workshops for the team, taking part in our client calls, improving on our recruitment process, or planning our next team event.

We are looking for a driven person who is experienced with developing Java-based applications (ideally Java 11+, Spring, Hibernate). Experience working with some of the following: AWS/GCP/Azure, NoSQL/Mongo, microservices, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker will be beneficial. You should have good communication skills, being able to cooperate both with the tech and business teams.

You should be a professional with proficiency in English (fluency in Swedish a big plus). You are used to working in an agile team, and care about personal and team development.
