Role Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity group.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape Vizrt's cloud journey while ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and enhancing cloud security controls, identifying and mitigating cloud security risks, and collaborating with RnD teams to embed security best practices into cloud infrastructure.
Key Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of experience in cloud security with hands-on expertise in mainly AWS plus Azure.
  2. Strong understanding of identity & access management, network security, and cloud-native security tools.
  3. Cloud security certifications are appreciated, but not mandatory. Experience with hands-on penetration testing of cloud environments is an extra bonus.
  4. Experience with security automation, SIEM, and threat detection in cloud environments.
  5. Familiarity with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD security practices.
  6. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and drive security initiatives.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive security mindset.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and enhance cloud security controls across AWS and Azure.
  2. Identify and mitigate cloud security risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with RnD teams to embed security best practices into cloud infrastructure.
  4. Integrate current security tooling and identify potential gaps in cloud security controls.
  5. Lead incident response efforts related to cloud security threats and misconfigurations.
  6. Work with internal stakeholders to define and enforce security policies.
  7. Own and drive cloud security initiatives across AWS and Azure.
  8. Develop automation and security tooling to reduce manual effort to strengthen cloud security.
  9. Stay ahead of emerging cloud security threats and drive proactive risk mitigation strategies.
