Job Overview

HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join its innovative high voltage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, including the commissioning, installation, and testing of high voltage equipment.

About the Role

The primary focus of this position will be to offer technical assistance to customers in various sectors, ensuring seamless operations and efficient solutions. Key responsibilities include:

- Performing field service activities on high voltage equipment manufactured by HITACHI ENERGY

- Collaborating with other Field Service Engineers on site activities, emphasizing health and safety regulations

- Translating customer needs into actionable proposals for improvement

- Traveling extensively across the globe to provide services and support

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

- A degree in engineering or a related technical field focused on energy, electricity, or a similar discipline

- Several years of experience in field services within the energy sector, preferably with knowledge of high voltage systems

- Familiarity with continuous improvement and LEAN principles is advantageous

- Proficiency in English is essential, with a strong understanding of Swedish being desirable

- Willingness to travel and adapt to varying environments
