Job Description:
Solar Project Developer

We are seeking a skilled Solar Project Developer to join our team in Sweden. As a key member of our renewable energy development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of wind and solar power in our home market.

Your primary responsibility will be to map potential wind and solar project sites, assist in lease negotiations, support the permitting process, arrange landowner meetings, and manage lease agreements. You will also coordinate technical studies and collaborate with various stakeholders, including landowners, politicians, authorities, neighbors, associations, consultants, and suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong understanding of solar and renewable energy, as well as fluency in Swedish and English. Previous experience from similar working tasks is highly valued, and experience with GIS tools, maps, and related programs is essential.

In addition to your technical skills, you will bring an entrepreneurial mindset combined with excellent communication skills. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with others to achieve common goals.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying and securing new solar project sites
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including landowners and government officials
  • Analyze data and make recommendations to improve project outcomes
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, economics, or business administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in renewable energy development
  • Strong understanding of solar and renewable energy concepts
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
