About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team at Robert Bosch AB. As a key member of our global customer team, you will be responsible for providing on-site customer support and coordinating interface integration towards Volvo systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide expert technical support to customers, addressing their engineering issues and ensuring seamless integration of our products.
  • Interface Integration: Coordinate and support the integration of our systems with Volvo's systems, ensuring smooth communication and data exchange.
  • Testing and Verification: Support testing and verification activities at Volvo, focusing on engineering issues and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with the Project Manager to align task and responsibility splits with the customer, ensuring effective project execution.
  • Interface Contacts: Develop and maintain interface contacts with engineering departments at the customer, fostering strong relationships and ensuring open communication.
  • Presentations: Present new developments to customers within your function responsibilities, ensuring they are informed and up-to-date on our latest technologies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field and experience in automotive electronics engineering, preferably within the Commercial Vehicles sector. You should have a good understanding of embedded systems and experience working with HW- and SW development toolchains. As a person, you should be structured, communicative, and solution-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across boundaries in a global organization.
