Network Architect Specialist

Job Description:
As a Senior Network Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting computer networks, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, intranets, extranets, and other data communications systems. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and ensure services provided by the Network Services team perform according to agreed-upon Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize network service performance by monitoring system availability and performance.
- Sustain effective operation of Network Services by properly maintaining affected systems, backups, scheduling upgrades proposed by Build and Implement, and executing approved changes.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide effective workarounds, and conduct thorough analysis to identify permanent fixes.
- Participate in establishing networking environments in new or existing locations following standard procedures.
- Lead and assist in installing network systems at LAN level (Core, Distribution, Access Switches configurations) globally.
- Lead and assist in deploying global solutions (like ISE, WLAN, etc.) at divisional level.
- Lead, coordinate, and successfully implement Terminal Truck Unit/LAN migrations as well as participate in other WAN support activities when required.
- Document and maintain run books and operations documents for transitioned network services, enforcing system standards and providing feedback to improve these standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies or Engineering and/or relevant industry certifications or a minimum 10 years equivalent experience in Network Administration (routing/switching).
- Senior-level network engineer with experience in architect/design WAN/LAN/WLAN networks and proficiency in routing/switching, WLAN technologies.
- Experience working for a global or enterprise company.
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus (CCNA / CCNP or equivalent experience).
